Went to this place during the recent festival. Very nice staff and clean. Chicken and was fish was friend perfect greens were great but we weren’t to crazy about the Mac and cheese

Had been wanting to trying this Girard Ave staple for some time now. Loved the chicken wings and mac and cheese, its came with a small side of corn bread! Give this spot a try, you'll enjoy it. Excited to try a few more items on the menu.

Pleasantly surprised. As this was my first time visiting I gave the initial greeting a pass. I've passed this spot many times and was grateful for the opportunity to finally see if Butter has the Butter.
I ordered a ribs, macaroni and cheese, and candied yams platter. Again, I'm often hesitant to share about soul food spots as it can depend on the day but today Butters was on. Everything was good, the ribs tender, Mac and cheese was cheese and the yams were just right.
From reviews others thought the platter was small, I think the portion was just right. Meal was under $20 and came with tea.
I would go again.

If you’re gonna get fried food, it might as well be soul food. Nice surprise found on W Girard St. the fish was super fresh and the serving size as you can see if hefty. The corn bread has a great semi sweet taste and the catfish was delicious. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop by.

Will def be frequenting this place. Chicken is amazing, collard greens on point, Mac+cheese needs some serious love though. Other than that lets support our local businesses. They doing it better than these franchises.

I went there today...The service was great . Butter son waa nice👍😎 A friend and I got take out. She drove i ate. The food was delicious. I will be back plus i will bring my family and a few friends by. Great job. 💯👍
