Wendy's

The staff is mostly respectful. They are extremely laden with customers most of the time. The food is nicely made, I have not gotten the wrong order. At this location, being in a heavy traffic area of downtown Philadelphia, it is usually crowded, that evening was no exception. There can be a long wait for your food and you must listen closely or you may miss it when they call you. Nice seating area, can be messy, the teens that go there in droves often don't clean up after themselves.

Last night, I stopped at this Wendy's and asked if they served coffee at this hour (it was around 8 pm). I was on my way to a Film Festival nearby. The Manager literally stopped what she was doing just to make me coffee. She ran the place really well. As I am not from the area, she also advised me regarding safety. The customers loved her...just excellent customer service!

Long wait during the lunch rush. This is a very popular location, but it is grossly understaffed, with only 3 employees & a manager. Given the circumstances, the customer service was very efficient, as the runner was able collect, prepare/bag several orders at once, & recall those orders to the cashier to speed up the checkout process.

MS. JACKIE THE NEW MANAGER IS THE TRUTH. I LOVE WENDYS AND REFUSED TO COME TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE OF THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE ENVIRONMENT. WELL SHE CHANGED MY MIND AND I ONLY WALKED PASSED AND NOTICED THE CHANGE!!!!!! SHE IS THE BEST. So nice professional and down to earth. She made me feel like I was dining at a family 5 star restaurant.

I tried the new bourbon burger. It was decent in taste but was sloppy. The fries were way too salty. I know it is a busy area but the place was very unclean. The location is good but it needs to be ran better with more organized employees. The only time I would go here is if I am desperate and starving. What a shame because I enjoy Wendy's sometimes.

The Wendy's on chestnut st is terrible. You can't go in or come out without somebody begging for something it's like a zoo inside dirty it takes forever to get your food the only reason I gave it two stars is because the food was actually good maybe a good place to doordash but definitely not a good place to go eat

I took me 40 minutes to get my mobile order. I watched people come in, order, get their food, and eat over and over. A couple of mobile orders were called out, but most sat on a table. Finally i worked my way up to ask about my order. She asked to see it on my phone and then said, "No, I need your name. " I told her and she finally came back with half my order and walked off. I had to wait minutes more for someone to ask about the other half. When I finally got home with it, of course the order was missing items and the food was cold. Worst Wendy's experience I've ever had.

The food was good. However, the service sucked. It was only one person taken orders and making the food while others was standing around doing nothing until someone said something. Then the register needed a reboot I guess so your waiting in line for 10 to 15. Maybe even longer so forget about going here on your lunch break. And when you can dine in, the tables are semi-clean but you still feel dirty just seating there eating. This place use to be cool to grab something to eat when the downstairs part was open. And now, I feel dirty just going in there to get something small to eat.
