Atmosphere... LOL... I'm glad there was a faded whiteboard that vaguely spelled out "Roast Beef Sandwich" or I would not have waited for the proprietor to come out from the back. Glad I waited. It's like Nick's Old Original with a better (Sarcone's) roll. I wish I'd ordered two (even though it was perfectly filling.) Rosario too pity on us and didn't make us go outside in the cold to dine.. But you may not be so lucky. Prepare to get delivery or takeout. You won't regret it.

Best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had. So simple but so perfectly done. A bit of a splurge for the amount of food you get, but the quality is there and makes it definitely worth it.

Every time I suggest this place, I am met with "Why don't we get Nick's?" Why? This place has a better roll & sharper provolone. The beef is more flavorful & sliced beautifully. Good crinkle cut fries. Down sides? They don't offer gravy fries, and they close before 7 PM.

Much better than nicks- theres are chewy & thick and not much flavor ! But cafe Chico 🤌🏽Soft & supple roast beef, succulent gravy, soft Italian rolls👌🏽My only complaint would be not enough gravy for me 😋

There's nothing like a good hot roast beef sandwich with provolone cheese and 🌶 🌶. Nick's roast beef was my go to spot for years but after giving Caffe Chicco a try I have a new go to spot. You have to try just one to see why I've switched (sorry Nicks) . I've even made the 25 mintue drive to philly (live Delaware county) to get my wife and I several roast beef sandwiches!

I found this place on my Facebook it came up on my timeline and for months I have wanted to try it but it always slipped my mind when it came time to order. Well yesterday I ordered for the first time, let me just say I was totally surprised! The beef, the gravy, the flavor, just all around a great sandwich my only regret is only getting one sandwich as I got stuck sharing with my boyfriend after he said he didn’t want any🤬. For me to be born and raised south Philly all I knew was nicks roast beef and for years it was my favorite but this beats nicks out of the park 1000 times over! My only negative comment is I wish you had more on the menu. I saw online you had meatballs I was disappointed I couldn’t order a meatball sandwich. Thank you for all you guys are doing keep up the great work I can’t wait to see how far you guys succeed in the years to come. You definitely have my return business and will definitely be telling everyone I know as well!!

Ordered here today for the first time and oh my gosh the roast beef is to die for! I have had Nick’s before but this is better by far in my opinion, the beef gravy is so good you should jar it and sell it! Thank you for the best roast beef sandwiches I will be back!

I absolutely love their food. My favorite is the roast beef. When i worked on broad street. I would always have lunch from there. Now during the covid it is very safe to order ahead and they meet you outside with your order to be safe. Try this little in noticed delicious secret.

Hands down best roast beef ever! Friendly staff. Amazing coffee. Sometimes a long wait so don’t expect to be in and out. Well worth it though. Beef is like butter in your mouth and best gravy/rolls ever. Get the spicy cherry peppers... pretty sure home grown and made,,.. everything else on menu is amazing too!
