If you have never had savory tofu before you have to try it. Just the way they make it. $4 for a medium size

Quick pitstop for delicious breakfast while you're on the move. As with many establishments in Chinatown, take the food to-go. The salty tofu nao was an excellent way to start the day, with a variety of toppings like green onions, pickled greens, fried garlic, hot chili, and little savory shrimp. The price is awesome as well! Highly recommend getting a quick bite here.

I haven’t had 豆浆 Chinese soy milk this good in years — it’s freshly made every morning. They were so nice and hurried to helped me fill containers of it in time for my bus back to DC. They’ll also put sugar if you don’t like it without! And they fry 油条youtiao fresh (just noticeable olive oil taste). No seating when I visited in February. But so worthwhile! I love soy milk and if you are dissatisfied with American soy milk try this.

I haven't had this Chinese-style tofu (which I loved from childhood) for years, and this tofu brought my soul to great satisfaction. It's a bit different from what I used to eat locally, but I did find it authentic and that the taste was superb (note: I eat the salty version). Other breakfast options, along with the tea, were also good. Need to be aware that there's a $15 minimum for card, though.

Great place to pick up a delicious breakfast! Tried 2 kinds of sticky rice (粽子), a couple of the donut things (油条), soy milk (豆浆), which was unsweetened, and two bowls of the tofu pudding (豆花), one sweet, which had a yummy very slightly peanuty syrup, and one salty, which had some little shrimp, preserved vegetable (榨菜 maybe...), some chilli, and possibly several other things I'm forgetting. Anyhow, everything was delicious and well-priced!

Awesome takeout food place! Has a lot of Taiwanese breakfast selections: sweet soy milk, salty soy milk, sweet tofu, and savory tofu, fried dough, and rice ball. Also has a lot of dim sum and dessert choices. Friendly staff with great service! Cash only! A must stop when in Philly Chinatown!

Went here for breakfast, we got the tofu dessert, Yo-Tiao, and stuffed bun. All the food were great and authentic, also very affordable at around $7 per person, would definitely recommend going here. Note that there is only take out and no dinning in.

FYI: they ask for cash if you spend less than $15. So, I went here because I saw a thing on Eater about breakfast tofu. I got there around 11:30, so kinda late, and looked at the menu in the window and in the shop, and I didn't really see anything that looked like what the article mentioned. I told the guy at the counter I was looking for the thing in the article, and he said, "oh, you mean the sugar tofu." I knew that wasn't what I'd come in for, but the thought of eating sugary tofu intrigued me enough to just roll with it. He handed me fresh, hot silken tofu in a container and what I came to discover was either straight honey or honey and sugar warmed in a small tub. When I got back to my hotel I ate it in the sink because it was dripping everywhere, but it was surprisingly delicious! Next time I'll figure out the breakfast thing. But that was cool!

Typical breakfast item here- silken tofu (either sweet honey ginger or savory spicy) with fried dough. Also, get pork buns here. Awesome cold tea (no sugar!! Ignore the label). Also try sesame paste (you just eat it with a spoon 🥄 typical dish). This place is AUTHENTIC!!!!!! They also have some of the best sesame balls!!!!! There is no dine in!!! Take out only!!! Cash only (most places in Chinatown are cash only)
