Steak And Hoagie Works

Horrible...this place is not it at all. The wedges was not fully cooked through..very rushed. The Roast Pork sandwich..there was nothing Philly about it! Not much meat , all bread and vegetables! I'm disappointed to say the least. Maybe ..just maybe in the future I will try again wayyyy later down the line. I'm a Philadelphia food blogger and food is everything for me in this city. Maybe next time!

Really expensive the updated menu had no prices on it so I call to ask how much 2 things cost got told to look online bc they busy n the prices online were wrong I order 2 10 honey bbq wings n it came out to $31 when it says online they alil over $7. Update ur online menu n add prices to ur paper menu.

I should’ve read the reviews prior to ordering. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a ham hoagie. The hoagie did not come with all the ingredients I asked for. But what is more OUTRAGEOUS AND DISGUSTING is that my husband’s Chicken salad sandwich had a HAIR IN IT. My poor husband literally took it out his mouth. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Will never buy from there! Do yourself a favor and do NOT BUY from here.

I order frequently, orders have been messed up several times. Today once again I order and was given a dry sandwich when I asked for honey mustard on it. Girl said you can come back and get it, it will be a dollar. Money isn’t a factor but your employee’s getting orders correct should be priority! Asked to speak with manager and he said I could come back when I told him I couldn’t leave my business again he said it would be a dollar for my delivery man to bring it to you. I said I wasn’t going to pay for THEIR MISTAKE!! Then he got very ignorant! Even had the audacity to say WE DON’T NEED YOUR BUSINESS! NO WORRIES YOUR WERE NOT GOUNG TO GET IT AGAIN! And I’m thrashed your menu so you don’t get my employee’s business as well! Needless to say I can’t eat a dry a@@ sandwich so I threw it away!

The service here is not good at all way below average. I Now understand why they have such low ratings. Either the owner doesn't want to make more money than he should or the employees are sabotaging the owner. They truly let me leave without ordering because they want me to order by phone but I was already standing there, why not just take my order it's only a cheesesteak. Money is good and good service brings in good money.

I have ordered from here for years but the last two times I ordered my order was messed up . Yesterday I placed an order for two cheesesteaks a hoagie and mozzarella sticks. I pick the order up came home opened up the food and it was an order of jalapeño poppers. I called and explain to them that they gave me poppers instead of mozzarella sticks. The girl replied I can either give you mozzarella sticks or I can give you a credit so I said it’s no big deal I’ll take the credit She said OK you have to bring the mozzarella sticks back. So basically I have to get my car come back to your place to return mozzarella sticks to get a credit for an order you messed up . It’s not about the lousy six dollars it’s the Fact that you have delivery drivers that could’ve easily picked up the poppers and exchange them for mozzarella sticks however I guess you don’t value your customers I’m done ordering from there their customer service skills are horrible!

I’ve been getting food from here for the past 15 years I’ve lived in the neighborhood. They must have new staff because they’re extremely rude. I ordered the same sandwich I’ve been getting forever, chicken blt. they sent it without the chicken. I called to get them to correct. the girl was very rude, arguing with us saying we had to send the old sandwiches back and then wanted to charge us extra for the chicken. Looks like I’ll have to find a new hoagie place.

The people who work here are very rude. No wonder why they work at a food place, they have no manners. I am not coming back here. I ordered wings an hour before they closed and the guy at the counter had the nerve to say " i just cleaned the fryer" ok? and that's my problem how? looks like you better get your handy dandy sponge out and start scrubbing again and make my wings, stuck up man.
