Jamaican Jerk Hut Express

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This place should have ZERO stars. My coworkers and I ordered a large order and it took nearly 3 hours to arrive. Once it arrived, 5 meals and numerous beverages were missing from the order and the owner of the restaurant was arguing with my coworker about the order and the mistakes HE MADE with getting the order right. No lunch for me today thanks to Jerk Hut Express. This place is a joke--stay away!

I came for a quick bite to eat on an even quicker lunch break. Google said it was open. When I pulled up it was closee. As i went to take a picture for google to edit the store hours a woman was opening the gate. She stated the store does open early but she was late. Smh. Then I considered waiting sonce she said food was made ready in the morning and only she was late. I walked in with her to see that nothing looked up and running (machines etc). Then noticed it was cash only. As i remarked on this she stated the (card) machine was fixed previously, but it was broken now. I left to go get fast food. Smh. Businesses have to get it together. Particularly Black Businesses

Horrible experience I ordered through grubhub, I wrote down specifically everything bout my order, the worker, did not give me anything I requested, she jus gave me what she wanted me to have, so I could not get my money back, mind you I ordered at 12 noon, all you had enough for was small oxtail that looked and tasted liked it was reheated and I had less then a handful, I been trying to get in touch with the owner for 2 days to make complaint, between jerk hut on Penrose and south street, I even left my number to contact me, which leads me to believe once they get your money they don't care how everything turn out, besides I had better.....top taste, Carribean delight, Jamaican D's, I jus thought I'll try something diff, next time I'll jus go for what I know....NEVER AGAIN!!!!

If you want a great taste of Caribbean food visit jerk hut express, there jerk chicken and that jerk pork ribs is like non other .spicy and tender just the way I like it ...the customer service is ok as well and the place is very clean .......I strongly recommend you to try there food,you will love it

The food is great they have a new staff a friendlier customer experience the first time I went there the food was good but the experience was not so great but recently I had to mood for some jerk chicken and oxtail so I said I was going to give them a second chance when I got there there was a new person serving everything was better than the first time I went I'm glad I gave them a second chance
