I am always skeptical when a restaurant has a 4.7 star rating here but only a 2.5 star rating on the other major review site, where it is difficult to post fake reviews.
La Buona's ingredients are the cheapest and poorest quality imaginable, which is why the food tastes terrible, including the pizza, sandwiches, platters, and everything else. I seriously prefer frozen dinners over this boring, bland, bogus shlock.
I found the staff to be polite and hardworking, so bad service is not an issue despite what many other reviews state. But stay away if you expect decent food.
Those giving rave reviews are either employees or foreigners who believe that boiled rat is a delicacy.
