Happy Wok

We've been going there for years. However, the last 3 times we purchased food we had issues. First problem, they left an item out of out order and we had to return for it. Next, our chicken was dry and tough, could barely chew it. Last time, we were there this week, we had ordered one of our favorites, hot and sour soup. We do eat spicy food. However, the soup was so SPICY it burnt the roof of my mouth. It also burnt my husband's throat and he had difficulty breathing. I called and asked what they had changed in the recipe to increase the heat. I was told "no difference". We will now be finding a new Chinese Restaurant.

My husband accidentally ordered this thinking it was actually reunion. This food is terrible, the meat is Greyish and not white meat like Chinese food usually is, it was very chewy I felt I was going to choke swallowing about 3 pieces later I tossed it. Sadly even the rice, fried and white wasn’t even good. As a lady mentioned in a previous review, spend the extra cash and go to Reunion.

One of my regular Chinese dishes is Singapore fun, this place has a Singapore mei fun that is hands-down the best of any place I've ever been to including the really expensive Asian restaurants. It is so full of meat and spices everything is fresh and delicious and the portions are large. If only this place was close to where I live it would be my regular. It's so good I wouldn't dare defile it with soy sauce. Try it for yourself, you'll see what I'm talking about my guess is probably everything here is equally as good. If Jason, [tung] cooks it, you're in for a treat .

I am so surprised by the good reviews of this place. This is, by far, some of the worst Chinese I have ever tasted. We were so excited by the low prices and then severely disappointed. My family threw out most of the food we ordered (chicken fried rice, low mein, happy family, several different types of egg rolls...) The meat is soft, soft soggy and tasteless and the food in general is tasteless. So bad. Pay the higher price and go to Réunion Asian Kitchen.

Barf pretty much sums it up in one word. DO NOT waste your time or money ordering the sweet and sour shrimp. They need to start changing their oil on a regular basis like they're supposed to... It was more like blackened shrimp with Grease flavor. The staff was extremely rude over the phone. And that was while ordering There's nothing Happy about this place!

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. I moved to Dayton last year and I could not find a single Chinese Restaurant in the area that could match them. Then I moved to Reynoldsburg over the summer and I will drive the 20 minutes just to get my fix. The family that owns the restaurant are always friendly, the food is always hot and delicious. I highly recommend them.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. The restaurant is nestled back in a Kroger's plaza between a dance studio and something else so I typically wouldn't have even tried it. I'm so glad I did. The General Tso's sauce and chicken was the best I've ever had. The pork fried rice and the egg roll were terrific. Everything was cooked right when I ordered so it took about 10 minutes but that's an absolute plus rather than a detriment. I will be back and I highly recommend you do as well.
