Teriyaki Madness

My family and I visited this location on Saturday at 6 pm. I was expecting to have to wait because of the dinner rush. We walk in and it is completely empty. No customers, no staff. I doubled checked the hours that were posted on the doors. Yep they are open. So we awkwardly wait a few minutes, and look at the menu. Finally 3 people come out of the back and take our order. 10 minutes later food is done. My wife ordered the terikyaki chicken with rice. The bottom of her entire bowl was full of hard clumps of rice. Chicken was overcooked and blackened. I would like to return and try this again but after this experience it will be awhile.

I went here on March 26, 2018, opening day. I came in right before the crowd. I had a pretty long wait and a few orders came out before mines that ordered after me. Odd. All in all, I did enjoy their food. Their portions will offend folks considering the price. The side salad is a waste of your money. Literally the cheap, iceberg lettuce bag with the carrots in it. I would go back. I’d assume the wait time has gotten better by now. Nice and clean place. I had the $5 special and it was really good. I see all the complaints about flavor and dryness. I guess I got lucky.

I have worked in the food industry for almost a decade.Primarily in fine dining, and hospitality. I have a very small set of standards when it comes to any restaurant. I will always be understanding, but when I went in to this place. The floor was sticky no matter where I walked, and could hear literal squishing under my feet. It was repulsive, the staff seemed way too eager for a customer, and it was absolutely empty during dinner service. I got a large beef bowl, and the veggies were absolutely dried and tasted terrible. The meat was like chewing rubber, and I could not finish the food. As soon as I left the restaurant, I started getting sharp pains in my stomach. and have been dealing with stomach issues the rest of this evening. Please try and focus on your cleanliness, and quality food control. This is beyond not okay, and after hearing from a former employee of just how bad it got. I would really suggest not coming here till they can get their kitchen together, and start raising their standards and general quality.

I like this restaurant but the last couple of times I ordered take out my chicken was burnt on one side. Which made eating my order of food impossible. I also wish their vegetables were cooked more tender!! Eating the cabbage and broccoli was the same as eating it raw. I asked to have it cooked longer but it still was not even a little tender. Their egg rolls were tasty!

Been here a couple times, the food is pretty good. Lot of cabbage in the bowls... Too much imo. Ordered it light veggies extra rice this time and it was a little better. Teriyaki sauce is pretty good. Trying the orange chicken next time. Egg rolls are VERY good, but they don't have duck sauce for them. :( overall a quick place to grab a bite for lunch.
