Cafe Moulin

Quaint little place on a side street in Shadyside shopping district. We were quick to be seated and have our order taken. The food was so delicious and I would highly recommend giving them a try. The only problem we had was that 3 other tables were seated after us, and they all received their food before we did. It wasn't until the 3rd table received their food that our server told us ours would be coming out next. She offered us complimentary lattes for the "inconvenience", which we accepted, but it felt like a very lackluster gesture meant to keep us from asking for any further compensation for their mistake. Overall I would still go back because the food was delicious.

It’s not very often I write reviews as of late but I felt so inclined to share one here. Not only does this place have quick, friendly service, but the food is amazing! Filling portions offered for the price, and the taste is out of this world. The way the cafe itself is set-up and the theme they have going on is super cute and cozy as well. I’m definitely going to come back to this spot in the future to continue to try out things on the menu!

Really fun place with great ambiance. The dessert crepes is really where this place shines. I would only ever come back here for the dessert crepes, they are delicious and a fair price. Coffee was pretty good too!! My savory crepe meal was honestly not good. The ham and cheese had no flavor, sauce, or anything. Everyone else at my table felt the same about their savory crepes. Just needs a little sauce.. even a plain mayo would have gone a long way in all of ours. Plain, unsalted, and with no pepper eggs were a disappointment.
