I am talking about the Coffee House only bc the bar and dining is all part of the same place with the same owner. The atmosphere for the coffee place is really nice and low-key. There is music in the background and people can talk with each other without others hearing it but the music is not too loud either. You have your basic coffee and drinks menu and some extras such as San Pellegrino, my favorite. Some basic desserts. The coffee House is sandwich in between the dining and the bar on either side so you can sit with friends and have coffee and chat and then you can also have dinner and drinks with them as well. The ambience is really cozy and the seats are comfortable and you also have tables.

I found the Abby on Butler St to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The best part of the establishment is the different sections ,each with its own decor, which creates a unique mood and enjoyable experience. Both indoor and patio dining , a coffee house room, and several bar seating areas, you can find a seat that sets the mood. The menu can range from an 18.00 Abby burger (excellent by the way 😋) to steaks in the 50.00 range and everything in-between. We also had the baked crab Dip appetizer 17.00..does not disappoint. Our mixologist of 30 yrs experience gave us exceptional service and cocktail service. Desserts looked fantastic at the near table, reservations are highly recommended on the weekends especially, we (2), were walk ins, but the manager and whole team bent over backwards to accommodate without a waiting to full dining bar seating and even offering a table in between the reservation. We declined the table and were very satisfied with our first seating. All staff very friendly. We want to stop into the coffee bar area on the way out to soak up a different mood and aroma of the coffee smells exiting the room, but a private party had the area somewhat reserved .

Great spot for an al fresco lunch or an evening drink. I love the patios and ambiance. There are various rooms indoors as well each with a unique vibe. The food and cocktails are really nice! Definitely recommend scoping out The Abbey

Overall, enjoyed The Abbey. The atmosphere is super cute like library, coffee house, nook that gets a lot of sunshine. The food was good. The veggie omelette was really good. The side of fries were just that- should have saved the calories. The burger was intense but had a ton of flavor! I ordered medium and you can see from photos it was well done. The best part to me was the pasta salad. Very homemade with peas and fresh goodness! Highly recommend that as your side. A seasonal drink we had was made with Haka vodka that was really nice! They were strong drinks and had a Christmas flavor profile to them with cranberry and orange. Really liked them! My other notice was that unless you were nasty and rude (noticed it with other patrons) the staff would not really accommodate requests. We asked to move to the outdoor patio and were told no due to an 8 top party but after we started eating, the patio filled. This could have been how I made the reservation and my fault but it felt like I was less important than an 8 person party. Additionally, where we sat, there was a ton of sun beaming in the window and we were told the safe shade couldn’t be pulled down because of the lights in the window? Just felt very rushed and the staff seemed very annoyed with anything we asked. Both asks I was super nice about so it was a bit frustrating.

Our waiter was Justin who was also handling the bar. His attention was pulled everywhere and i feel like if he had help our experience would have been better. Unfortunately we had to keep asking other waiters for needed items. We ordered the Brussels to open. Personally I didn't like them as they were to bitter/tarte from the basmaltic dressing they cooked them in. Then I had the soup of the day which was the Mediterranean soup and that was amazing! For out entree we had the burger, lasagne, and fish/chips. Everything was ON point, minus the huge and thick cut pork belly that didn't really compliment the brisket burger.

I’ve been to the abbey for brunch, dinner and everything in between. The service is always great and the food is delicious. The new outdoor addition has been wonderful on nice days or late nights for a bite to eat. If you’re going for brunch I’d recommend reserving a table first to avoid the lines. Brunch seems to be their busiest time, but well worth it. Pictured here is their veggie omelet, Bloody Mary and crab rangoon nachos!

The best mussels in town. Lamb pasta is unique and delicious. The burger was a delight with a bit of heaviness of apple butter. The meat is tender and fresh bursting with flavor. The crispy frites is a must try. Love it! The ambience is lovely too. Awesome experience!

Our waiter was super sweet, the food was incredible. We got brunch on a Sunday morning and it was surprisingly not too busy! We got the curry frites, curry tofu scramble and a frittata. The mimosas were strong (or maybe I'm just weak!) and the environment was beautiful. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they could find a way to bring out the water carafes cold. Highly recommend eating here!
