Classic American sandwich shop. Had the Godfather and it has hit the sweet spot. Much better than contemporary competitors.

I originally ordered my food for delivery but there was an error with the service so I ended up having to reorder and pick it up in person. The staff was so friendly and helpful about the situation over the phone and in person. I would go back for the customer service alone, but the sandwiches being great was an added bonus!

By far, the best sub I have ever had in my entire life, (try ordering the "Godfather") however the service was a bit slow for us. Overall this restaurant is great and I would definitely recommend if you're in Pittsburgh.

The subs ARE actually 16 inches long and taste quality is superb. Not dinky subway subs in hot dog buns. The retro atmosphere adds to experience.

Great experience here. We were running late for an event and the staff was very friendly and had the subs ready in a very quick amount of time. The quality was significantly better than your typical sub shop, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. All of the ingredients were very fresh as well! Thank you!

I was enticed by the retro neon red signs that lit up the whole restaurant. I loved the line style of ordering some found it confusing but once in the line it was a simple and inviting process. Then once seated I demolished the sub. The oil was deciding and delicious it added to the sub and earned the title as the best sub I have had I would suggest diabellos to any hungry sub loving people.

"Best sub you've ever had" is not just a slogan, but seems to be a promise, as well. DiBella's compares favorably to all other sub shops I've been to. The bread is flavorful. The meat and condiments are plentiful. Everything tastes fresh. Today has been my second visit, but whenever I'm going to be downtown in the future, DiBella's is where I will head for lunch.
