I absolutely love this bar. Their fish sandwiches are so amazing and their french fries are some of my favorite in the city. It is pretty divey inside, but that is part of the charm. The summertime is great because they have an outdoor area and have live music. The prices are right and the people are nice.

Great place to grab a fried fish sandwich. They have karaoke some nights, which isn't my thing, listening to a drunken fool who thinks they can sing. They have live bands which IS my thing... The place draws an older crowd. A family business, run quite well, for many years now.

A neighborhood gem, great fish sandwich. limited beer selection. Great people and service, crowd is mostly locals, bar and restaurant. Comfort food is the staples. Several monitors to watch games.

The reviews will not steer you wrong. I got a huge fish sandwich and added cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions and it was between $8 and $9. It was huge, delicious, and well worth it! Especially adding cheese.
Also Jim (the owner) is a great guy. At one point there were only 3 of us sitting at the bar and the owner (Jim) bought us all another round. On him!
This was my first time there and I will be back. The bartender was great too.

An old standby in the Ville. With all the needed development that was needed in this steel community so much new has taken over. Thankfully for life long residents of the now booming and popular area there is still an original that stands the test of time. Its a true throwback experience I love it. Best fish sand still in the city.

Fun local bar. Great music. Good food.

If you are a fan of a great fish sandwich, and you've never been here-you are depriving yourself. A great neighborhood relic! Some would call this a Pittsburgh dive-bar, and on some levels they are correct, but it is friendly, has great service and very affordable.

Nice bar with good food. Not a "new" bar. This definitely is more if a "hole in the wall" kind of bar. Id say more for an older crowd, but still very friendly staff.

This is a great little hole in the wall that I only frequent during lent for their incredible fish sandwiches! Oh and the Mac n cheese! Very good. A neighborhood joint with friendly staff and good old time vibe

This place is so worth the hype. The fish sandwich is the best we've had in Pittsburgh across many restaurants and many churches with lenten fish frys. The fries are also outstanding and the coleslaw is OK too. Come here for the fish alone. Eat in or carry out.
The atmosphere is also excellent. We sat at a table in the bar, but I'm not sure, there may be additional seating elsewhere too. Our waitress was very friendly and quick and the crowd at the bar was having a great time even though it was pretty early in the day. The demographic at the bar was a little bit older (probably late 30s and up) but that's what you want out of a place like this.
