The absolute best food and music in the south side. Unfortunately they are closing for good on Sunday. Lots of people will be sad to hear.

Fun bar in Southside pretty consistent how it's been for years. They have bands on Saturday days .

Best bar in the 'Burgh...excellent staff, drink selection including beers, terrific food (the wings are the BEST!). Live music, sports...this is the spot to stop!

The drinks are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The food is simple but incredibly tasty! A proper hold over from Old Pittsburgh.

Service is always friendly. It's like a small town bar amongst the crazy of the Southside. Great Vibes! Food is on point. Never had a bad item and I don't think anything on the menu is over 9$!! Love their Gyros, Burgers, and spaghetti. Definitely a spot to eat and drink on the Southside!

So from out of town work in the local area had to stay at a hotel looking for the best low-key mom and pop bar possible found this bar called excuses it’s like I never left home and they have regular bar prices like the bar down the road from your street any of food the bartenders are cool can’t say enough about this place for being a first timer but I’ll definitely be back here that’s for damn sure

Love this place. Food is great, service is great. It’s not a college bar hangout. You can kick back with your friends, have a bite and drink. You don’t need an EXCUSE to be here. Awesome

The bartenders are always so nice and professional. The older guy who drinks coffe is sort of quiet and always wear a plaid shirt. Great alcoholic slushies await one in the window. Fantastic number of drafts. The guy that owns this place especially with the live bands a a special gem

I come here all the time. It's a small place but the atmosphere is great and the employees are friendly. They have, hands down, the best wings I have ever eaten at a great price!
