We unknowingly visited on a Thursday, the impromptu bar sing along day! A very lively crowd, so we joined in the singing! A great neighborhood spot even though we are not from that "hood"!

Hog's Head Bar and Grille is a hidden gem! I love the down home atmosphere. The staff are amazing! Friendly and hard workers! Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious! The restaurant was clean and cozy.

Just got into Pittsburgh. Looked up places and decided on Hogshead for lunch. What a great choice! Roads a little curvy getting here but worth the efforts. Amy our server was above excellent. Food was great. Smoked pork was just about perfect. Pizza crisp and delicious. Beer reasonable and cold will definitely be back.

Found this gem on a whim and it was our favorite place to eat in all of Pittsburgh! Our waitress was so incredibly sweet and the food was delicious. If you're in Pittsburgh and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city do yourself a favor and stop here. It's only 10-15 minutes from downtown!

They have good food. The waitresses are friendly and fast. A step above bar food. It can get loud when it's crowded, they need to add something to dampen the sound. Above average.

I been to my share of Pittsburgh dive bars but this one is more than i expected, nostalgia for burgh history. Will definitely come back for some good food and beer 🍻👍😎

Gr8 neighborhood tavern. Very good food. Gr8 hamburger and pizza. Good variety of drsft beers. Gr8 staff. Reasonable pricing. Hidden gem. Support local establishment rather than blah blah chains

The service was fantastic. The server was super nice and welcoming. The food was great as well. Wings were a little fatty for my liking but they were crunchy on the outside and cooked perfectly. The Louisiana OX and barbalo sauce both were great. I would stop by through here without a doubt.
