Vocelli Pizza

We ordered two medium pizzas (12”) and breadstick bites. The breadstick bites were AMAZING. The pizza? Well, Vocelli seems to be extremely popular in the greater Pittsburgh area, so I wanted to get behind the taste of it, but I just couldn’t. To me it just tastes like that of a bigger chain like Pizza Hut or Dominoes. The cheese and tomato sauce didn’t do it for me but the bread and crust were impressive. Something I really loved other than the breadstick bites was that our food was at the door about 30mins after we ordered it… on a Saturday night. For rationing purposes, this food was more than enough for three people.

I order subs here all the time because their lunch special is hard to beat. Love their classic chicken—it’s my go-to. The walls are decorated with vintage classic-rock memorabilia which contributes to a unique atmosphere and everyone there is always kind. It definitely feels family-owned and customers are treated with respect. I look forward to trying their pizza, and I’ll be a regular for the foreseeable future!

Vocelli Pizza is one of a few local restaurants from which I regularly order. Prices are low, and the delivery drivers are timely and courteous. My favorite foods are the pizza, pizza rolls, stromboli, wings, and cinnamon sticks. My husband enjoys the linguini with meatballs. The chicken tenders, chicken parmesan, boneless wings, salads, and cannolis are decent.

We held our son's 7th birthday party at this location after he and his friends had completed the experiments at Code Breakers next door. The owner and the staff at this location of the Vocelli Pizza franchise were very accommodating and helpful. They helped made the event an easy experience for the parents and a big success for the kids. Among the things they did for us: (a) they organized the tables into a large one to accommodate sixteen kids; (b) they gave us free water; (c) they let us know, unprompted, where we can find healthy drinks for the kids (they only sell soda at the restaurant) nearby; (d) they arranged to get the food ready quickly; (e) they only recommended food they think we'll need given the number of kids, and in our case - four large party savor pizzas at a very reasonable cost; and (f) and they were just awesomely helpful in every way possible. I highly recommend the venue for all parents who want to organize parties there.
