Twelve Whiskey Barbecue

IMPRESSED. We came into Twelve Whiskey with a party of 12 which grew to 16 as some of our friends were in the area and wanted to join. The wait staff did an excellent job taking all our orders and answering questions we had with the menu. Beers and cocktails were good and fairly priced. We were already happy with things and then the food came out… Everything was correct - no mistakes on very complicated orders and the food was amazing! Very reasonably priced and the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork was incredible. Their sauces were also excellent and offered lots of variety. One of our diners was a self professed southern BBQ snob and ordered Carolina BBQ sauce with the intention of highlighting the issues but was amazed how authentic and tasty it was. And on top of all of that, the waitress was able to split the bill 16 ways with everyone paying for their own order. If you’re looking for great BBQ a stones throw from Acrisure, PNG Park, or the convention center, this is your stop. The only thing to keep in mind is that the dining area is mostly a bar that just happens to have incredible food so the dining area is a little limited and probably isn’t great for families. The music is also loud but very much of what you’d expect in a bar setting. For the 16 of us, it was perfect but I can see sone people feeling out of place. But honestly with how great the food and service really was I really wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Great atmosphere, even better food. The food is reasonably priced especially for the quality. The brisket is probably the best ive ever had, perfect smokey taste. All the food I've had there has been good, the burgers, wings, pulled pork, mac n cheese, fries. I have yet to try something I didn't like. Their food and drink menu has a huge variety and even their kids menu has brisket or sliders. The service is also fast and everyone working is really nice and attentive.

Food, bartenders, atmosphere are all great! Highly recommend their chicken and waffles fries! I’ve even witnessed 2 of their bartenders pay for a meal to feed a man who couldn’t afford it. Only complaint is their bouncer is very choosy on what he lets slides for dress code. There have been a few instances but the one that happened today was I and a few other women of color who were not in my group were turned away for “wearing open toe shoes” to the bar…( in 78 degree weather) I ran to my car, changed, came back and once inside noticed the bouncer continuously let in multiple white women who were also wearing open toe shoes. When I asked about it he said “they’re VIPs”….lol. Wish they had a steady dress code but other than that the place is great!

The food and drinks were really good. We went there for brunch and had the big A bloody Mary (it's huge and hard to eat but very awesome), chicken and waffles, and the American breakfast. They have a nice bar and a bunch of tv screens that had college basketball and football on. Everything was good but the service was really slow at times, which is okay because we weren't in a hurry but really the only point of complaint. I would go back there.
