The historical Obey House Tavern is a place to enjoy good food & drinks and all at a reasonable price! Always a friendly place and when their is a band the place is alive. When I am in the area I enjoy this neighborhood bar, you will too.

I used to go there a long time ago with my husband but he's his past and now I went out there with my friend and it seems okay it don't seem like the same bar because it's not serious I just see it we didn't stay very long it's okay my uncle used to draw pictures for the house his name was Jim Dugan nice to see I wish I would have had his photos I think it was the original owners that had his picture I wish I could get hold of them to get a hold of those pictures

This place is a gem! Friendly staff, friendly people and a building with more history than it should be able to hold. It ain't no Fern Bar, that's for sure. If you know how to behave at a neighborhood bar then this is the place for you no matter what neighborhood you are from.

Last really good neighborhood tavern. The owners live upstairs and take good care of the place, and one of the owners is the chef. Food is really pretty good. Especially the pizza. Now no smoking!! Nice place in the back garden for smokers with a picnic table. Bottled beer only, but they've got a good selection. Very reasonably priced.
