Taj Chaat

My apologies for a bad review. Sincerely, there is nothing worth remembering on the "Chaat" items. Started with Chaat with the intention to migrate to other items but sadly couldn't go past the first two that we ordered. The place was fairly busy and service was brisk. The Chana Bhatura surely could not be worse anywhere else. How could Lassi (both Mango and Sweet) be prepared so poorly?

Food is just barely edible as the quality has degraded in the last few years since ownership of this operation changed hands (perhaps several times?). The only significant improvement over the years is in the POS/cashier placement and the payment system. A note of caution: DO NOT drink water taken from the so called "Purified Water" dispenser. First, it tastes just like tap water and smells like mold/mildew (the water not the cup). My guess is that they fill the jug from the faucet and just stick in on top of the dispenser. And second, the water catch basin around the dispenser has dead bugs all the time. See the upside down dead cockroach to the left of the water dispenser in the accompanying photo?!
