Pei Wei Asian Diner

I feel this visit was an isolated event. I went in and the person checking me out did not ask for my rewards number or phone. I ordered one bowl (I was dining alone) and I waited 20 minutes for my food, asked twice how long it would be and was told that he was making it. I had a movie to get to and finally went to the manager and explained that I hadn't received my food. He had the cook made it right then, but by this time, I had run outta time to eat and had to take to go. The manager did give me a complimentary gift card and was apologetic.

I went in to order some soup to go. I went up to the carry out counter and was told that since I did not place my order online or by phone, I would have to stand in line at the register where all the dine in patrons were waiting. I was on my lunch break and only wanted soup. He said he could not take my order there. The line at the register was long and I did not have enough time to wait. I asked him if I could have the number so I could call in my order. I was told he was the only one up there and there was no one available to answer my call and take my order. He obviously did not have time for me and so I left.

The food is fine, but good luck getting these people to pick up the phone for a takeout order after 8:30 when they close at 9. And they flat-out will not answer the phone after 8:45. Even though if they cook the food right away it would be done well before closing. They just want to go home early and they close unofficially well before the closing time on the website
