Ground Round

Our waiter and the manager were very nice, we were seated quickly, and food came out quickly. However, the quality of the food was not very good. I ordered an island turkey burger. It was extremely bland, the sriachi mayonnaise was mixed in with the shredded lettuce which just made a mess. I would not order it again. My son ordered the turkey pretzel sandwich, it was also under-seasoned and looked like someone sat on it, it was so flat. The wings my other child ordered were okay, they were a good size and cooked well. Overall, I felt that the prices were higher than similar restaurants, and the food was a much lower quality. For the three of us with no alcoholic beverages, no appetizers and no dessert, our bill was just shy of $50. I cannot recommend eating here.

Simply astonishing. The people there are really friendly and helpful, the food is very tasty. There are two parts of the restaurant a bar and a dine in. As someone who loves a somewhat quite background away from the noise, I find that Ground Round is a perfect spot that suits me, and I will definitely come here again. ❤️

Me and the family got seated quickly during lunch. The staff was friendly, the appetizer and drinks came out quickly. The waitress was attentive and was friendly. Food was delicious, I had the Bison burger but they were out of Bison meat so I had a 10oz burger in it's place. My wife enjoyed the chicken alfredo, the seasoning was on point. Definitely go in for a great quick lunch meal!

The food is really bad... never in my life did I think ordering gravy on mashed potatoes would somehow make them less edible. Sad to see this place has gone so downhill in quality. I am not a picky person by any means, and certainly not someone to send food back, but it was hard to eat what we were served. It's frustrating because the service was actually great, our wait staff did an excellent job. However, with the quality of the food so low, there is nothing that good service can do to make dining here a positive experience. Would not recommend to even my worst enemy.

We just got done with a team dinner after hockey tournament games in Plattsburgh at the Ground Round. I worked my hardest at trying to give them accurate numbers and updates along the way but my updates were only as good as my information from my team. We ended up well over 50 people for our 7-8 year old hockey team. They accommodated us extremely well! They were very organized, the price was right and they allowed each family to do their own separate bills that went very well. Separate bills makes our life sooo much easier!! Our guests felt comfortable attending no matter their financial situation. All of our guests had a huge selection of food to order from instead of small menu for a special event like some venues make you do. Lots of kid friendly foods for the pickiest of eaters. The staff was extremely easy to work with prior to the event and during the event. We were so thankful!! We definitely would consider coming back to this for a team dinner and highly recommend it to others! Thank you Ground Round!!!

Straight outta 1996! I had assumed this chain had completely closed in the early 2000's, but somehow fate reunited us. Food, service, and atmosphere was terrific, it was like the hands of time had completely stopped, the place hasn't changed a bit. I really enjoyed my meal here and highly recommend this place to individuals and families of all ages. 5 stars!
