Freaky Tiki Bar & Grill

My daughter, mother and dog discovered this place after a trip to walk at Long Point. This stop made our day. We were able to eat lunch out on the deck with our dog. They had a dog menu! Check out the photo of the beautiful chicken and rice she was served! We all got our bellies filled and enjoyed the view of the lake. I would love to go back, and will share this treasure with my friends and family.

A wonderful restaurant and great food. The Crab cakes were loaded with crabmeat, the tuna poke was fresh and delicious. I also had the habanero mahi-mahi, which was also delicious. Steve the owner is wonderful man and a great chef. Casey is excellent manager. It’s just a pleasant place to dine. We will be back! Oh, I didn’t mention the great view on Champlain Lake.

I have to say that we had high expectations going here. It is a beautiful spot on Mooney Bay. Our night started with crab cakes which were good. We then ordered our dinners. I ordered the beef tips and my wife ordered the summer salad. I got my order about 20 minutes later. My wife did not get her meal. We waited 5 minutes before asking the waitress where her meal was. They messed up the order and forgot to put it in. 15 minutes later the salad arrives. It was steak atop iceberg lettuce. The avocado was not ripe and rock hard. As a chef, you should no better than to put an unripened avocado on a plate. My beef tips meal was delicious but a little cold because I waited for my wife’s meal. We did get her meal and a glass of wine payed for. The name of the place is Freaky Tiki and has no tiki theme at all. We had a new waitress so that could be most of our issue. We may have hit a bad Saturday.

Five star service , five star food ! This place has so much to offer. Live music, alcoholic beverages, beautiful views, killer food, and a place to hang out, make friends, socialize, and enjoy your night. The atmosphere here is almost unreal. The staff are all well-meshed, and not once have I seen the staff argue with each other. It’s all been love at the Freaky Tiki. Once you walk into this restaurant you’ll never want to go anywhere else ever again!!!

We called ahead to confirm seating availability. We were told to wait one hour for a table. Upon arrival many tables were available on the deck. We asked to be seated on the water side of the deck but denied. The host said that our party of three couldn't sit at a round table because they could fit more patrons at that type of table. We were seated by the door and experienced the wait staff RUNNING behind us in and out of the door. We waited for drinks, food was incorrect and promised vegetables never arrived. Sorry for a 3 star. My posts are always fair and the truth.
