Bought food here for the first time, having found it by accident. Was very surprised (because other trumpets are blown louder) by great quality, decent size cod, and fast service. Will definitely return here. Had previously frequented an alternative Westbourne fish and chip shop, but fatty food, portion size and a very long wait all killed that off. Happy to have discovered Nicks.

Great service, nice staff. Food is a little expensive but portions are big and the food is fresh and tastes amazing. Parking is the only main issue. Few spaces out front but they were all full and we had to find a space in the roads up the hill from it

I always buy my cod and chips here when visiting Poole. My only comment would be that the staff are just a little distant, but the cooked food is great.

Top quality cooking of fish and chips. Lovely piece of cod. Crispy batter. Tasty chips. You can sit at the tables outside to eat your takeaway. Friendly service.

I don’t normally order fish and chip and find they a bit bland for me.
But nick the fish has made the difference.
You can taste the quality of fish they use and it’s not greasy butter.
It’s worth of visit, and I heard quite a few famous footballers been their regular customers.
So can’t be wrong ☺️

The best fish and chips I have ever had in my life. Used to regularly have it but have since moved away to the Midlands. I miss it so much and I can't wait to visit on holiday and have the amazing taste I miss so much. Never found anything half as good since moving :(
