Fantastic service. Unbeatable food. I cannot recommend this place enough. This was once a run down pub, but it has been transformed into the place to be in Poole! Seriously, fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic atmosphere. Need I add more? Update: Wednesday's new midweek roast is amazing! Full roast 4 meats to choose from and a pint or wine to go with it! 6 Stars!

Five or us went here tonight, not sure what to expect. Well I'm so glad we desided on this establishment, firstly the staff give it there all, surpurb customer service always a smile when serving and engaging with the guests. The food was outstanding, presentation five star. Quality, five star. They have a wonderful seating area out back, extremely well maintained .The cleanliness of the place is immaculate. A big thank you to Matt the head chef, keep doing what your doing, it's blinding compared to any others locally, trust me. Now the only reason I have given a 4 star review is as great as your front of house staff are you need at least 3 more I have worked in the industry for 30 years but was left waiting only due to the volume of people and not enough staff. It will damage your business in the end. Take heed. We will return.. see photos.

Suntrap garden for Saturday lunch & drinks. Great service and perfect atmosphere for a group of 6. House burger and fries was a good size and flavour. The seafood pizza, though small, was stacked with prawns. We got lucky with the sunshine, but the booths have heaters. Perfect good looking location for the Instagram crowd.

We went for Christmas day lunch, I wish we hadn't ! Total chaos, served by 7 different members of staff, some of the pre-ordered courses were not available so had to re-order, when the main arrived most of them were under cooked to point of not being far off raw. We were there just under 4 hours !!! Waiting time between courses averaged 1 hour, by this time we gave up and left. In their defence the staff were completely swamped and over stretched , the manager was very apologetic, you could see the poor guy was very stressed by the situation.

I'm giving 4* only because of Veronica who works hard clearly, knows her job and did her best tonight to make sure that our experience was good here. Otherwise it would have been 3*. About the rest of the staff...well a bit disappointed. At the bar was a nice girl who is a trainee and needs checking, the bottle of wine was not opened well. Once we got our wine and went to seat outside no one came to see us until I went to the bar and asked for the menu. We were asked whether we pre-booked 3 times by different people. ... eventually Veronica started to serve our table and our evening started to improve. She found me a blanket when I asked as it was getting chilly outside. We waited for at least 30minutes for our food to arrive, for Thursday evening it wasn't too busy. My tagliatelle dish wasn't hot enough right from the beginning (and under seasoned) I asked it to be hotter straight away (I mean temperature). The guy who brought it wasn't happy at all about it and the other guy who brought it back was the same. One of the worst attitude you can receive by an unhappy people by looking at their faces. The place looks good though inside and outside, nice seating areas. So far it's a mixture of various people's attitude and how good their food can be next time. Basically as a first time visitor I'm not overly impressed. But big thank you to Veronica for sure!
