The Gurkha Spice

Had a great experience here over the weekend with my Wife. Managed to get a table for two on the sunday evening walk in, we had the poppadoms which came with the usual condiments (chutney, some sort of minty/yoghurt and the onion salad?). Very nice. We both enjoyed our curries I got the Gurkha mixed meat special under the Chef specials and it did not disappoint, had some heat but honestly not too hot. Wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala, sweeter side and not too hot which was to her preference. We got the Pashwari naan with it, also sweet but complimented with the less sweet curry was very nice. Service was pretty quick, we didn't order starters so food came out quicker - was just all around very tasty food, priced as i'd expect and shares a joint top spot with my other favourite Indian food experience.

Just had a delivery whilst on holiday In Bournemouth. Both myself and wife said that this was without a doubt THE best chicken tikka masala we’ve ever had. You can always tell what an Indian meal is going to be like from the beginning with the poppadoms and chutneys which were first class. But the stars of the show were the exceptional tikka, just as good garlic naan, rice and fries. An excellent meal. Thank you ******
