Park Avenue Bbq Grill

I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the team is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a pleasing time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

We were headed somewhere else and stopped to give Park Avenue BBQ Grille a try. From the outside decor we weren't really sure what to expect as it didn't present as a BBQ restaurant nor did we smell any BBQ in the air. We found our server Lex to be very friendly and welcoming helping us to better understand the menu and our options. She was patient and genuine. Really enjoyed her! The food was ok and I think we wanted to enjoy it more because of the attentive service we'd received. Did really enjoy the Brunswick Stew and would eat that again.

I was referred here for the pulled pork sandwich by a Door Dash driver. Wow. Great sandwich and even better service. I have some special food allergies and the Manager, Scott, went above and beyond to ensure that my meal would be safe. I would definitely come back and refer anyone for a great pulled pork sandwich!!

Mon. 2/18/19 ~ President's Day. This was our first visit to this location and honestly it was average at best. We arrived for a late lunch or very early dinner (by our standards), 5pm and the place was pretty slow. Our Server's name was Judy and she was nice and greeted us with a big smile. She brought our drink order, a Coke and a Bud light, and after she put the drinks down we ordered our Appetizer but then she started to take our Menu's away, we weren't even ready to order yet. Next our order, we both ordered the Lg. Bbq Pork Sandwich, and you have a choice of Traditional or Carolina yet she didn't ask us which one we wanted until after we ordered it, also we asked for "Garlic Toast" in place of the Hamburger bun and when our order came out they just, "toasted" the bread no - Garlic butter to be found! We tried on several different occasions to talk or joke with Judy but she basically went running by us while asking if everything was okay, ect. It wasn't busy until we were leaving so I really don't know why Judy wasn't around? We even had to find another employee to get our check after we we're sitting with our finished food in front of us waiting for 10 minutes with no Judy in sight! About the food: The Mozzarella sticks Appetizer, they came just out of the fryer, perfectly golden brown and ooie gooey in the middle, and the Marinara sauce was perfect and very tasty. As I already wrote we both got the Large Bbq Pork Sandwiches, you only have a choice of 1 side with Sandwiches so I chose the Bbq Beans and my Son had French Fries. The over - filled dish of Bbq Beans had SO much Pork in it I had maybe 3 Beans so when Judy made one of her marathon trips past our table I asked for some beans and she brought me some but not before I actually tasted them, they tasted very acidic, and I didn't want them. As for my Son's side, he just got something safer, French Fries and they were hot and delicious. Oh, I forgot about the Pork itself, not bad but certainly not the best at all. I don't know if it was the Bbq sauce they put on it or what but for $9.50 I wish we went elsewhere.

I was quite impressed. I moved from Miami last year and was craving some BBQ. I just googled and found this place at random—I'll so glad I did. I really enjoyed the chicken and baby back ribs too. My order was to go, of course due to all that's going on. Anthony was the person who greeted me and handled my order. Great food, customer service, and reasonable prices.
