Hot Wok

First time ordering food at this restaurant. I have always found it very difficult to find a good Chinese food restaurant and this one was above average compared to others in my experience. The food was fresh and hot and the vegetables were crispy as I hate overcooked vegetables. I will go back again. The restaurant itself is a bit dated, it could use some TLC. The gentleman that took our order also cooked it, he was pleasant and professional.

Don't bother trying to dine in. There's a couple of tables but no table service. The room is ridiculously hot. Go sit anywhere else and be more comfortable. The food was fine, but my order wasn't right. Wanted boneless spare ribs and was given bone in instead. Not the cleanest place. Have this be a takeout place and that's it.

As a local this is my favorite Chinese takeout places in the area. It's not really a place you would want to go to sit down and get something to eat as it's a pretty small spot but it's doable if you really want to but it's more of a takeout place. If you did decide to stay in and eat the people here are really nice and will bring your food to you and give you whatever else you need as they are very accommodating.

Take out only place with the usual Chinese Restaurant menu. It's not cheap, but they are prompt and food is hot. Entrees are served in microwavable plastic containers which can be reused as food storage. Beef with snow peas, beef with mixed veg are my usual order along with pork fried rice. You can order online, pay and get a receipt.

Had the PuPu Platter. Food was crisp and not greasy. Pork fried Rice was excellent with good flavor. Spare ribs delicious. Chicken fingers very good. Beef teriyaki had good flavor, though a little overdone. Would go back just for the rice. My wife reported the shrimp flavor was off a little, as was the crab Rangoon. But then, we are from Maine and are used to extremely fresh seafood.
