Slappy Cakes

This place is well versed in pleasing the whole family. Kids love the option to make fun and creative designs with Slappys table top griddles while offering a tasty and needed adult beverage for the parents. The bartenders who most often serve me without any kiddos, make me feel welcome and know how to make a drink. The manager has gone above and beyond every time I'm there. Meeting new patrons and remembering regular guests to make their dining experience that much more unique and special. The pancakes from the kitchen and batter for DIY is consistent and delicious, the Benedict is by far my favorite. Overall the service, food, and atmosphere will keep me coming back time and again.

Brunch menu is great, food is plentiful and delicious, allowing for substitutions or dietary restrictions, service is excellent (attentive but not hovering). It's very loud inside, due to high ceilings and music that drowns out conversation (I'm old and a bit hard of hearing). Option to cook one's own pancakes at the table griddle was likely more fun for kids than for seniors. Kelsey and Heather were very helpful in pointing out options for substituting items. Wonderful diverse fruit bowl and mushroom scramble! Kudos from the Aunt Colony!

We absolutely love coming here! The staff is super friendly and we love getting to see them. Pancakes are a must! But they also have amazing dishes as well. This is our favorite spot to get brunch. It’s really fun for the little ones to. In the warmer days they have chalk while you wait you can draw on the side walk. Thanks for always being amazing!!
