Case Study Coffee

This Case Study within a prime spot in downtown Portland is my favorite location to go to by far. The decor, design and feeling of the coffee shop is perfect and being right next to the MAX and Streetcar tracks makes you feel like you're in a well designed, European city with importance on public transportation lol. It's an absolutely amazing location and a perfect spot to relax with a coffee and read a book. The reason I am leaving 3 stars is because of the poor service I received when I was here. The barista who was making the drinks was incredibly rude to a lot of the customers, rolling their eyes when asked simple questions. Alongside that, the person who took my order seemed like they were having a very hard day, no "hello" or "I can take your order when you're ready" which is just the bare minimum when it comes to customer service. I hope this was just a one off thing and if my experience improves the next time I'll be sure to update this review. Update: Next time I came here the two baristas who were having a bad day/acting odd weren't there and the ones replacing them were great! Easy service.

Really cute, clean and comfortable spot. Walked right in and ordered our coffee - took about 5 minutes. They have oat milk. All syrups are made in house. The vanilla latte was perfectly steamed and the balance of coffee, sweetness and milk was excellent. Best part was you could drink it right away because the temperature was just right. Highly recommend.

Crafted espresso at a reasonable price. We enjoyed a beautifully poured, silky smooth bourbon caramel latte in a large ceramic mug. ☕️ Great ambiance. We could have used a little more guidance from the barista that took our order... but maybe we look so much like locals that she assumed we were regulars... 😂 Great alternative to the bigger, more expensive, less individualized franchises.
