Ground Breaker Brewing & Gastropub

WOW! We dropped by when visiting from Montana. This was a destination I wanted because I've had the IPA #5. We tried all the current beers on tap. They were all good. The server was great and very helpful. Then we selected a few items from the menu. The papusa's were great. The fried chicken was completely amazing! And the Guac was out out of this world.

Visiting Portland from the east coast, I knew that I would be stopping in at plenty of breweries. But I didn't expect to find a 100% dedicated Gluten Free brewery and kitchen. What a great surprise to be able to share a flight with my celiac wife! She's tried plenty of GF beers over the years, but has never found one she loves. Having a wide variety on offer allowed her to explore different styles and hop profiles, and discover what flavors she enjoys. As an enjoyer of beers filled with gluten, I was surprised with the quality and consistency of the styles offered. Everything met the flavor profile that I would have expected from a traditionally brewed beer. The food on offer from SalviPDX was delicious. I'm unfamiliar with El Salvadorian food, and this was a great introduction. I'll be looking forward to exploring more of this cuisine in the future.

I love GB!!!! And Salvi!!!! It’s so yummy. Do yourself a favor and get everything haha the pupusas the Loroco the molcajete salsa the mole wow- it’s a salvimex mescla that is spicy and delicious. Best Happy Hour in Portland goes until 8 as it should for the working stiffs!! LOVE to GB we have a home fellow celiacs!!!

Absolutely Freaking Fantastic! I’ve been GF due to extreme intolerance for 11 years and used to love beer. This was beer. (I’ve tried a few others over the years but none compare.) Delicious and so fun. We also had the fried chicken. Yum! For management: I was worried about the quinoa flakes due to my cross reaction but didn’t have a single issue!
