Escape From New York Pizza

I’m from East Coast. Actually Washington D.C and Maryland areas. So I went to NewYork city several time a year. But I saw this restaurant sign I kinda like laughed out loud because when I went to East Coast style pizza restaurants couple place in this areas. Actually made me disappointed so badly but this restaurant is making me back to NewYork. Yes that a city.!! I feel like I sat on NewYork Street Pizza store. And I was so happy and pizza slice is huge so same size like a NewYork.!! Super Duper Happy incredible Happy, delicious and Yummy. Crews are kind, friendly and helpful. Pizza is fresh and warm enough. I love store’s interior and decoration on walls. I will be back again. I’m glad my husband found this place for me.

They really know what pizza is all about and I gotta say they do it the best here. When you bite into their pizza you definitely feel like you are in New York. Each bite has a great toasty, crispy, and buttery taste all the way to the crust. No one i know is doing it like this. That pizza oven brings it out perfect everytime. Even sitting inside you feel like you left Portland and walked into New York. Great vibes, cool music playing, and great customer service. My number one place to go for pizza.

This is definitely my favorite place to go for a slice of pizza in Portland. You will usually only find 3 different types of pizza being served with no substitutions so selecting what pizza you want is usually pretty fast. Beer and soda are sold here and that might be the only time you will need to take a moment to think about your options. The staff is very friendly, the service fast, the pizza delish, and since you’re only eating a slice or two most people don’t spend too long here so you can usually find seating. As of writing this, a slice is around $5. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick bite and want some fantastic pizza.

I love coming here every time I'm in the area. I truly miss NY pizza from my early days on the East Coast, and this truly hits the spot. Very nice guys working here, and I love the pizza, too, of course! Love the 90s alternative music and the whole atmosphere just exudes vintage NY pizzeria. Definitely stop by and grab a slice or two!
