This was my first time there. I had a chai tea latte. It was great. The folks at the counter were friendly and quick. I'll be going back, for sure.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Portland! Finally got the chance to stop by Upper Left Roasters and I was so impressed with the layout of both the indoor and outdoor seating, with a large amount of capacity to hold a good amount of people.
And best of all, the service was easy, nice and the barista made a delicious cappuccino! Highly recommend Upper Left Roasters.

I never leave a review, but after stopping by for a cortado this morning I feel so inclined to leave one. This coffee shop might be my new favorite in Portland. The coffee was amazingly pulled and poured, they have a nice selection of different beans you can get brewed and they roast in house. The prices were very fair and they were hosting a local bakery on the sidewalk right outside serving delicious pastries and fresh baked bread. The atmosphere was immaculate even though it was busy with almost every seat taken. Had to leave with a second cortado and a loaf of bread. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends.

It is a lovely spot for a coffee and perhaps a bite to eat. The cozy eclectic atmosphere is somewhat whimsical and really appealing. The staffs are friendly .Great outdoor seating. Overall a grate experience.

Great food! Just took a long time getting to us. My latte was almost gone by the time my breakfast sandwich was out. A bit loud but if you like good clean food, nice people and a lower SE experience, then this is a great spot for indoor/ outdoor sipping, eating, chatting! Bon appétit!

The ube latte is so creamy that it's hard to believe it's just oat milk and ube 🍠 💕 coffee is also delicious and no burnt taste, earthy Rwandan pourover!

Upper left is by far my favorite coffee roaster in PDX. Their latté had the right amount of creamy taste and consistency, and yet not tasting all milky. It's a very well lit space, they also have some wonderful outdoor seating. Overall a very good vibe!

Coffee was phenomenal (the mocha specifically). It was a bit busy but our food was made pretty quick. Pastries were really good but they can't warm them up.
