Denny's

Stopped by passing through picked up a handcrafted real ice cream chocolate shake with whipped cream and a cherry on top. A little pricy is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise that milk shake was the bomb. I cannot wait to get another shake. I think I am going to get my next one made with one of their non -traditional flavors for my next Denny’s great shake escape

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but I didn't need to be. I go to Denny's a few times a year, all over the country. I've had a whole range of experiences. This visit was among the best. I came on a Saturday morning. It was busy but not packed. I was seated quickly. The food came out fast, hot, and delicious with no mistakes. I barely saw the bottom of my coffee cup. Kenneth, my server, was outstanding, however from where I sat I could tell the entire wait and kitchen staff had a great morning groove going. Also the music coming from the kitchen was good (but not too loud or anything). I'll be back.

This was the very best, worst restaurant experience I've had in my LIFE. Nothing came out right at midnight on a Friday in downtown Portland. But who cares. The place was hopping with all walks of life, drama and crazy in every corner. Our server brought out the food alllll wrong and was just like, go with it, man. This is as good as it gets. We were like, yeah. Nobody knows how to cook eggs, huh? One of us got a made-up sandwich not even close to one on the menu. But you know what? They tried and it was awesome. They comped us 2 free meals for next time. I'd come back. But only on a late night Friday.
