Chang's Mongolian Grill

the food is just what you'd expect when going to changs. however, i give the food four stars. because sometimes i will notice veggies starting to go a little bad. nothing that made me sick personally though. so 4 stars for me. they have a pretty good raspberry lemonade. service is humble and kind. no complaints from me. I can tell they try. atmosphere is friendly, imo. people don't mind standing next to each other waiting in line around the grill area. and people have conversations and stuff. the area seems pretty clean as well. i don't think i've had any issues w/ cleanliness. other then the veggie thing here and there (nobody is perfect). the parking lot can be confusing though. if you are a first time visitor. 4 stars from me.

What's not to love about a plate full of meat and veggies, flavored as you like?? Love the moo shoo wrappers. Everything is a bit picked over by 8pm, but there was still plenty of food. Some options are only on one side, which can be frustrating, and sometimes things are labeled incorrectly. Got a piece of broccoli in my last dinner which was mushy and tasted awful. There is salmon with dinner, but it's farmed Atlantic salmon and barely pink. Hard skip that! The soups are bland, wouldn't bother. They offer ice cream with dinner. No non-dairy dessert options.

Food was delicious, fresh, and well stocked. Please note this is a Grill only so no menu to order other foods from. It was a smooth and easy process. There is even a large sign above the bar where you grab your ingredients for the grill, offering suggestions and information. You go in, are greeted, grab your plate and ingredients, walk to the grill, they cook your food, hand it back to you and you go sit and enjoy your meal! A server comes around and asks if things are ok and if you want drinks. They had two employees grilling. Service was excellent! They were honest and very accommodating for my food allergies! They were kind as well! Atmosphere, here is where they lost a star. Quite dark, dreary, and outdated. They do have a cool large wall art piece that is lighted behind it. This could be updated a bit and maybe be made the focus point. A bit dirty. I sat at a booth where I had to stare at very dirty bussing carts and plastic room separation dividers. It's also right next to the raw food but far enough away...still though...a bit unsettling. Not much competition as a Mongolian Grill ONLY (yes there are restaurants with Mongolian Grill but haven't seen another stand alone like this in this area). I was also there during slow time. If busier they may have even more cooks on grill....would recommend calling ahead to see, if you are in a hurry. As there are no other eating options, if it is super busy and they happen to be down a cook ... you !ay have to wait. Please note, this was my first visit and the food was worth the wait!

If you are into this kind of buffet, this is a great place! A couple of years ago I couldn't say that so this place has put in the work to keep it clean and safe inside and out, the food is kept stocked well, at the right temperature and the buffet is tidied often. The wait staff are eager to get you happily seated and informed about everything and ask you all the necessary questions so when you get back from the buffet, everything that you ordered to go with your meal is either waiting for you at your table or on its way. I loved the last time I was here. Exceptionally staffed and improved dining experience. Will be stopping by again soon for late lunch or early dinner.
