Bread & Honey Cafe

First time here and really smitten. The owners are definitely fulfilling their mission of “simplicity and niceness” serving delicious, cost-conscious food. The Fritata Bite was pretty perfect… fluffy but with texture, and a subtle, yummy salami layer. Biscuit & gravy was also incredible and didn’t try-too-hard to be rich or big-dough. Finally who knew a Honey Cardamom latte could be a wonderful complement to the savory food. The space is warm with woods, brick and good light, counter service saves $, serve-yourself water, wifi and nice bathrooms. Thank you B&H Cafe for your hard work, care and vision to serve the community in such a lovely way. ❤️ Wish I lived closer!

I love this place. I live close by and always bring visitors here. They are consistent! I know I can always count on Bread and Honey for a great mimosa brunch with the girls, breakfast with my partner, or simply a great cup of coffee with my grandma. The food is great and the staff is kind. I feel so lucky to have this cafe in the neighborhood.

A nice variety of light bites and tasty drinks makes this a nice place for a smaller sized nourishment. My quiche of the day was perfect and so too was my lavender vanilla latte. Usually I like a more quaint atmosphere, but the clean tables/counter with a nearby outlet was just what I need for this day of travel planning on my computer.

Bread and Honey is a must to go to in Portland. If you are visiting, is has a warm atmosphere, nice music, a shelf of books to read and delicious food and drink to go around. The coffee is delicious and the matcha is the best I've had since Japan. Thick and creamy and bitter if you ask for no sweetner. Additionally, all the pastries are made in-house! Most importantly, the staff are kind, friendly and know their food and drink well. I'm now a regular, for all the reasons above.

Nice quaint cafe for a filling breakfast. Staff was super friendly and the food was yummy. Cafe was well lit, welcoming and clean. Didn’t mind at all we had to bus our own table. I had the Potato and Leak Breakfast Pie which was savory and a nice change from sweets for breakfast and my latte was great. Hubby has the Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy. He said they were pretty good for not being from The South. They have a couple items for sale like t-shirts and also have a shelf of free books.
