The Arbor Lodge - A Coffee & Community Space

I do like this place, and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. That being said, I want to bring to someone's attention that drink quality GREATLY depends on who is working that day. There is one staff member who I'm starting to turn around if I see her working, because I know I'm in for a watered down drink and bad service. However, the brunette with lots of tattoos is amazing-- She's attentive and makes the best drinks around. Please have her train some of your other staff!

My partner and I liked the coffee here so much, we came back to buy a bag of beans from them! When we visited the other day, we asked what they had going for drip because we were looking for roasters in the PDX area that offered single origin coffee. The flavor profile the staff described for the drip that day was accurate, and it tastes just the same at home. The cafe itself is a bit small but has adequate space for people to get around if it gets a little crowded. We didn't get any food, so we can't comment on that.
