Hush Hush Cafe

Great food, always busy. The staff there are great and friendly. Food is usually surprisingly quick to come out. Lots of options and the grilled vegetables are so delicious. Parking is a little challenging, presumably with Trader Joe's and the other shops and restaurants in the same mall. The hummus is delicious and so smooth. I like the baba ghanouj as well, but the hummus is better. We usually get several platters and share.

This is my go to for Mediterranean in the Tigard side of LO. My husband and I love to get their grill combo and grape leaves plates. It is great every time. There is usually a line of people ordering and it stays steady for business, which is excellent. They started offering desserts this past spring that are made in house. The service is always friendly and during slower times it can be a little extra nice. We always enjoy the food, as well as the atmosphere. It isn’t too bright or loud. It is nice for my husband and I to enjoy a cozy dinner, which is surprising considering the layout.

Found this place by chance. Was late in the day and happened upon it. The staff was great. I was hungry and didn't know what to get. Still not sure what he ordered for me but it was grilled chicken with rice. It was fantastic. Chicken was moist and tender. Very flavorful. I also got some baba ganoush. It was really yummy too. Great job guys I will be back next trip.

Fast, yummy food for a good price! This is a sit down or takeout experience, we saw people do both while we were there. I got the lamb shawarma plate and the lamb was delicious! My only issue was that it was just rice and meat with a sauce drizzled over it. It could have used slightly less meat and more vegetables! There's plenty of parking and the service is fast, so you'll be in and out in no time if that's what you want. I will be going back for sure.

If you LOVE Mediterranean food, this is THE place to visit!! My son ALWAYS gets a Turkish coffee, which they bring to the table and pour into the tiny cup. You can see its piping hot from the steam rising! He also always gets spicy garlic fries, which are very tasty. This time, he got the grilled Gyro wrap, which lasted all of 5 min. I got the gyro salad, which is one of my favorites, and it makes 2 meals for me. Couple things, 1. You order at the counter. 2. The extensive menu is overhead, so you have to stand off to the side, just to read it. They also have a QR code (menu) on the tables. We use the full menu online to make our choices before we go. Their food is fresh, hot, and tasty, and we love coming here for lunch. Just be prepared that the wraps and gyros can get a little juicy!

Updated 2022 Review!!: Listen man, I’m normally not the one to post a picture of my freshly finished plate I just ate off of, but let me just say if anyone asks me if Hush Hush Cafe is good I’m just going to show them that third picture… The Lamb Shank plate is simply amazing! Old 2021 Review!!: Had this on New Years Eve to cap off 2021 with the best meal I had all year!! I got the grilled chicken wrap and it was to die for. The cashiers were really nice. The cooks were great. The music set a lovely ambiance for the entire restaurant and you could tell everyone was having a good time. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would go again.

EXCELLENT FOOD! Everything was very flavorful, somehow a little different and better than other Middle Eastern spots. The gyro meat is ridiculously good, everything looked and tasted fresh. The staff was helpful and friendly and patient to the group of lost-looking first-timers. Definitely coming back!
