The staff has become better over the last 4 years , The manager is still the same and she is awesome and quite funny! The crew is what is increasingly better. They use to be HORRIBLE but since she has hired new people , This McDonald's has become a better place for what it is , and the location they are at!

Best McDonald's in the area, the bathroom is the only one the homeless are allowed to use. So have a heart 💓 give when you can, personally I love jumping off the bus walking in and out in three minutes and jump on my next bus. I can Always count on fast food and for fresh food you need to ask, prepared to wait. Always double check complicated orders. Great service.

I went to this mcdonalds a couple times in the morning/noon recently when I was going to the courthouse. It was a short wait for food even during a rush period. Good thing it was though because they don't give you a receipt right after you pay they give it to you when you get your food which I kind of don't like but it is what it is. I don't know what's with people in these reviews complaining about the homeless people like with this part of portland you can expect homeless people to be around downtown portland has a huge amount of homeless people and they can't control that. Overall it wasn't too bad I noticed homeless people outside but it wasn't a problem, it was pretty clean and it was fast even during a busy time.

I have been to every single McDonalds in the world and this one is the best one by far. How good was it? Well, the guy from the Grey Poupon commercial was right in front of me, in his Rolls Royce, and he agreed that he had never, ever seen service like this! (I have to tell you that he's not long for this world though. He was on a respirator and his nurse had to start his heart a couple of times before he picked up the best looking value cheeseburger that I have ever seen, so you might want to say a prayer for him.) Anyway, the girl behind the counter was smoking hot. She looked almost exactly like Christy Canyon in that July 1986 issue of Hustler Magazine I used to have in 9th grade before I wore it out -except she had her clothes on, which was appropriate... unfortunately. In fact, I think it should be noted, and her superiors should be informed, that she conducted herself professionally and with class, politely deferring our conversation back to the services that were on the menu posted above the ordering counter, and not on the menu that I had suddenly found myself substantially hungrier for. I have to admit that I was disappointed, as the menu I was referring to was top notch and would most certainly have earned McDonalds, both that restaurant and the whole corporation, a turgid five stars. I wanted to do horrible things to her. It was then that I saw the Big Mac, two for five dollar deal and the french fry double-up, and I placed my order. When she gave me my due change her hand gently brushed against mine and I realized the depths of her feelings for me. How could I could I have been so short-sighted? So blind? She wasn't declining my advances because she didn't want me! No! She was a girl with standards and ethics! She was subtly communicating that we could do all of those acts of unbridled passion in the mens restroom when she goes on break in 25 minutes! Duh! What was I thinking? This girl has class! And who cares if theres a bunch guys going in and out of there? This is love! So I am sitting in the dark corner next to a group of gutter punks who appear to have just rolled into town on last nights Burlington Northern. They both look and smell like they slept in a Honey Bucket outhouse after a Greatful Dead show in the boiling heat of August. Im getting used to the smell, and am thinking of the tender moments I am about to share with my Christy Canyon fantasy girl. Ive even got some zip ties in my backpack! I just overheard the manager say that they are calling the cops. Hmm. Thats funny. No one seems to be making any trouble. Its probably some creep. This town is full of them. Oh well. Im just gonna finish this Big Mac and wait for my rendezvous with... I don't even know her name! God, I love this place! This is the best shop ever!!! FIVE STARS!!!

It's McDonald's for godsakes people, moreover, it's downtown. Homeless people frequent any cheap fast food joint. Contrary to popular belief house-less people are not rabid. They do their thing and how about you do yours, they already have it hard enough. I appreciate this location for the diversity and the new menu is actually an upgrade.

Unlike most other McDonald's locations, this one continues the "2 for" deals even when the franchise doesn't. Right now they have 2 McRibs for $6, 2 Big Macs for $5.50, and 2 medium fries for $4...along with other deals. The staff is great but the clientele can be a bit undesirable. There is also a Redbox at this location, which makes it convenient. Also, with no drive-in, the only people you got to wait for are the people you're in line with, which all moves rather quickly.
