Good Neighbor Pizza

Hi, Michael (local guide) here! Good Neighbor Pizzeria might just be my new favorite pizza in Portland - as much as I'll always love you though apizza scholls, the atmosphere inside of Good Neighbor is unmatched! From the friendly staff, to the well stocked and affordable bar, local beer selection, arcade games, nice patio AND more than anything - the nostaglic smell that hits your nose as you enter the establishment. The pizza, on a onebite scale is in the 8's without a doubt. When Dave finally tries it i'd be baffled if he gave it anything lower than an 8.2. I personally am giving it a 8.4 overall and a 9.2 in the Portland scale.

The garlic knots were good and quite substantial - more than just an appetizer imo. Pizza was also nice. Didn't try their drink menu. I visited during the daytime and they kept their front wall open (iirc it was a retractable shutter or something...?), so it was sort of semi-outdoor seating if you sat near the front.

This place is GREAT!!! The staff is so friendly, they say hello when you walk in and with a smile! I call each time for To go orders and they could not be more patient and helpful over the phone (which is so rare with customer service these days )! Great owners for hiring such great staff members ! Support these types of businesses please !
