Mock Crest Tavern

We've been here so many times for breakfast and love the food and service. The menu is small but sufficient. The one item I miss is hash browns, but they have a very small grill so the frier potatoes are understandable. They always do a special on the weekends and they are yummy. Cocktails are very affordable and generous pours. The servers are terrific and check in regularly on your coffee and other beverages.

Fantastic bar went last night for drinks and food bartenders took care of me with ease and spoiled me. Went this afternoon for lunch and the bartender man in a boy shirt with boy glasses like 2 sizes to small. I ask for a salmon chowder and that's all no drink. I wait for my chowder a few minutes then he asks if I'd like a drink I tell him I've already had a few. But I'll order one if I have to. Friend calls and ask if we're having dinner there I tell him yes. Finish the phone call and the boy man in boy glasses tells me he can't serve me chowder cause it's weird I even ordered a drink.... Any ways go to the bar at night no weird feeling boys feeling weird at the bar then. What a surprise... not really sure what happened but I'll be avoiding the bar from lunch till dinner just so I don't make the poor guy feel weird. What kind of world is this when you can't eat because of excuses like that? Strange as heck, And a waste of time. This guy makes he other bartenders look bad.

I love the atmosphere at this fantastic local tavern. Pleasant personnel that provides great service. Excellent live music, reasonably priced drinks, and a delectable meal. Wednesday nights are great for poker. I highly suggest swinging by! One of those locations where you can sense the proprietors and management are hands on with the space.
