Cascade Grill

Not as good as our visit in 2021. The food was still amazing. Nothing changed there. The staff is wahat changed. They were not rude by any means, just uninterested/not paying attention like robots only doing what they are programmed and nothing else. No emotion at all. In 2021, the greeter greeted you with a smile, sat you & took your drink order. Then the hostesse came by with a smile and pleasant attitude and took the order without interrupting the customer or asking questions the customer had already answered. This time, it was dealing with robots. The greeter did not greet us. In fact, the only words she said was "what do you want to drink?". Then when the hostess came by to take our order and my wife ordered ordered the prime rib 10oz evem said "10 ounce prime rib" when she tried to continue the hostess interupted and said "what size prime rib 10 oz or 14 oz". I had to bite my tongue being former nilitary nothing ticks me off more than having to repeat something because someone did not listen the 1st time. When she brought the order, she never said the usual enjoy your meal, or is there anything else i can get. Just placed the meals on the table and left sort of like and amzon driver. That was the last se saw of her at our table before she came back with the bill. We would still go back and recommend Cascade Grill because the food is that good, and again, the staff was not rude. the order was correct, and everything they just were all business no time for pleasantries.

I have been here a few times. They usually aren't very busy at dinner time. The service is is prompt and courteous. The food is excellent every time. Last night I had Prime rib and it was perfect medium rare and tender and juicy. For a truck stop diner, this place is a hidden gem. I can't believe they don't have a line going out the door.
