What an American Drive-in burger is. Super awesome tasting. Real fruit fizzy lifting drinks, great fries and menu items. Big chain burgers do not even come close. Their burgers don't even taste good and or are horrible looking. And they taste like they look. Even lower cost than other big chains. Amazing because they blow away the big "top chain" burger places. I would expect nothing less and I'm glad I stopped in. Drove past this place a lot. Now I know it's a great place for classic drive-in burgers and such! Super Deluxe taste as well as they look. Must try and leave your review! ✌🏽

I ordered from here on Uber Eats for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I got the veggie burger, and it was probably the best burger I've had in years. The fries were great, too! We almost immediately ordered again just to eat more, and for the price it is definitely worth it. You cannot find a burger this cheap AND this amazing here in Portland anymore. I think we've found our new go-to burger joint.

I've eaten here and done takeout several times. Their hamburgers have a rich flavor. The service is always welcoming and instantaneous. Unlike other burger places, Super Deluxe has a wide open cooking area side-on to the ordering counter so you can see the food prep. A month ago a worker with a beard even had a beard-net on. Management must be good because every time I've been here the employees are happy, engaged with their tasks and moving fast. I'm always greeted with a smile. The tables and seats are clean as well. They keep the drive-through moving quickly too. Great richly-flavored food served with a smile at a good price, it's no wonder the place gets super busy, like last night at 7:30pm. The guy who greeted me like I was his returning good friend even apologized for the wait, but I could see they were (justifiably) swamped with customers. And as of October 20, 2023, their big 'basic' burger was just under $6, and they have bundled burger-fries-drink meals as well, just under $11. A great affordable option for families as well, and of course for those big games coming up this season. A quick trip to Super Deluxe at SE 52nd and Powell will make for happy fans at your tailgater or your living room in front of the 60-inch screen.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place swiftly became one of my favorite places to get a bite after sunset. It's close, it's got a drive-thru, it's open lateish, the employees are personable and polite, the food is very tasty. I'd be happy to get this food from a food cart, but the convenience of staying in my car is pretty awesome! First of all, the fries. Oh my word, these crinkle-cut fries are the dream that your grade-school cafeteria stole from you. Tender, crispy edges but soft fluffy interior, always hot and nicely salted, moist but not soggy, and a good size portion. These fries are one of the main reasons I returned after my first visit. If I'm getting them to go, they always get eaten up before I arrive at my destination. Then the burger. I've gotten a double deluxe either with the GF bun, or bunless, sitting on lettuce. The gf bun is what you would expect, a little dry and firm, almost the right size, holds the burger. I prefer the bed of lettuce, even if it does mean utensils. The beef and toppings themselves have a very home-cooked vibe, like a summer bbq without the lighter-fluid taste. I like it. The deluxe sauce makes me think of something that your cousin would whip up at the family reunion to get the kids to try something besides just potato chips; it's a very approachable flavor, not mysterious. So far I've had the fresh fruit fizzy water, and that's nice too. The drive-thru can get a little long, but I'm chill with that. The service has always been great! Even when I walked in really close to closing, they were super nice and let me place an order. And they have a rewards program! I definitely would recommend this place, I will be returning.

A super cute spot with immaculate vibes- obsessed with the retro pop modern look, and the interior continues to keep up that liminal space aesthetic. They continue to impress with killer food- my partner and I both initially were a little disappointed to see crinkle cut fries, but they’re fresh and actually meaty- none of the cruddy hollow and dry crinkle cut business. Their nuggets and chicken sandwiches are unbelievably moist with awesome breading- crack open the nuggets to let them cool before biting! Tried the single burger today and was very pleasantly surprised- I’m a chicken guy but the beef was well flavored and I loved all the toppings/toasted bun! Thank you guys!
