Mcdonald's

This was the nicest McDonald's I have been to in Oregon so far...took me by surprise actually...it is an adult oriented SIT-DOWN style fast food place that still encouraged seniors to socialize and enjoy a good breakfast or coffee with friends or simply relax and catch up on emails....not just a drive through with limited seating (new style)... Friendly service, lots of seniors relaxing having breakfast or coffee...a gathering place vs quick in and out preferred elsewhere...that is why I don't go to two nearby McDonald's other than drive-through breakfast...they are not set to be comfortable to sit and enjoy breakfast... A real shame that their formula has changed so much...I have been a fan since they opened in the late sixties early seventies. That might end soon...I live too far from Tigard and this great McDonald's to go regularly...

Cash reg was causing the lil whipper snapper some problems..i think he had to use his brain and start that math skills motor and it just was taking forever....stalled and stalled. Wheels were trying to spin and dang here i am to tell about it.. That was just paying for items...pick up..always gotta check your bag and do inventory...yup meal deal comes with drink ok..ill order a additional bev and dang they forgot lol the drink with meal .they will get better as days go on.

The kiosk wouldn't take my card so I ended up going to the register. I got in line behind the other 3 customers n we all stood there while nobody came to help us. It wasn't until a young female came back from her break that service was given. That's just sad. She came back from her break and within a few moments she had everybody taken care of. This girl went above and beyond to help every single customer where the others failed and would rather just stand around, joke with each other n pretend we weren't there. Kiddos to this young employee who made us feel welcomed. She even made sure the fries were hot.
