Henry Higgins Boiled Bagels

Such delicious bagels and there is so much variety! All the breakfast sandwiches are super good and the lox is incredible! I've also had the fish board for two and it was a great value for its price. I can't wait to try the other regular bagel sandwiches in the future. I would highly recommend the smoked salmon cream cheese on a sesame bagel if you're looking for a straightforward order. I live dangerously close and go there so often 😂

I ordered breakfast on a whim here because I was craving real bagels and eggs. Im originally from NYC and now been in Portland for a while and wow! These bagels are so authentic tasting and are fresh. They were also nice enough to substitute an item for me since the kanish had chicken fat in it and I'm a vegetarian and I was pleasantly surprised they even gave me extra bagels 🥯 and left me a nice note. Try the salt one! Trust me.

Probably the best bagel in the city. I ordered 4 bagels on a Tuesday and got upsold to a dozen. When I got home there were 18 bagels in the bag LOL. Luckily they freeze very well! Their loaded bagel is kinda spendy, but hey...cured salmon is expensive these days. Great spot though with friendly staff.

Been here many times over the past couple years now. The bagels are among the best in Portland. The service here is good, can sometimes be a bit slow because this is a very popular place; lot's of people in and out, and the multitude of on-line to go orders can slow things down if they get a rush. Just pack a little patience and it's worth it. Parking can sometimes be scarce, because it's surrounded by other 9 to 5 businesses, with lots of employees. I'm sure they all come here a lot!

A little place off like a smurf village. Amble parking. As soon as you enter it like you are in another place. Kudos for whoever did the set up. Menu as clear as day. Customer service on point and they all looked awake and ready. They were working like ants and they were well coordinated. They got the order out in a timely manner. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and let me tell you it's the best I've ever tasted from any place and I've been to a lot and nothing compared to this. The picture had strawberry shortcake so you were given a hint that this is going to be strawberry on another level. Definitely will be back to try more on their menu to go with the strawberry lemonade.
