Shari's Cafe And Pies

ABSOLUTELY amazing! The food was phenomenal and the service was even better. I've spent the last year on the east coast, where service always comes with a bad attitude and food is mediocre. Lynelle served us with a smile on her face and a bounce in her step. After a long day of traveling the food hit the spot.

Went there for Pie and Coffee, and was i surprised. They have a decent variety of pie, it's very reasonably priced, tastes really good, ambience was comfortable and the people were great too. We had the season special hazelnut cream pie and the caramel pie, both of which were really good. Gotta go back here for a meal one of these days.

I've had uneven to go breakfast from this location in the past, but today (Christmas Day) I had one of the tastiest cheeseburgers I've had in a while. Shari's flame broils the beef and offers several cheese options (although the online menu says Tillamook cheddar). I chose tater tots as my side and in the restaurant they probably would have been great. In a to go situation a quick microwave warm gave them a little softening but more warmth. Service was prompt and pleasant from the very busy hosts/waitstaff. The kitchen was probably the busiest it ever gets as looking here a typical weekend morning isn't even quite as slammed. Additionally, Shari's does offer a deep selection of pies and an interesting idea called a pie shake (industrial blender mixes a slice of pie into a vanilla milkshake). Coffee here is overall okay; I hope someday they offer real cream instead of shelf stable cups. While I wouldn't call Shari's a five star restaurant, this last visit was definitely worth a "high quality" rating. This location has older Shari's decor and video lottery available.

We go here for just the milkshakes now since the night they gave us a raw burger. New staff still charged us for it when we asked to exchange for a slice of pie. Felt bad telling my wife the burger was okay and just extra pink until I tried it, literally uncooked beef. Looked like they had all new staff that night so can't hold it against the others there we were usually use to.
