Hot, fresh and yummy chicken. Great slaw, and fries. Everything looked great coming out of the kitchen. Great friendly bar with comfortable booths. Doesn't look as nice on the outside as inside. The place is spotless and the cleanest bathrooms in Portland. I can't wait to go back. I have driven by here countless times and finally stopped. The best!!

I ate a delicious crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked correctly and was plenty juicy, though the bun fell apart due to its softness so perhaps lightly grilling it would keep it together . The accompanied Jojos were very large -- like a quartered potato lengthwise — i liked their taste and texture but the skins fell off. Overall, a solid sandwich but i think i’ll switch to tatter tots next time. Worth checking out.

Some of the best and crispiest best fried chicken you can get in Portland. SUPER hot, so don't scald yourself when you get it in the car.
I've eaten here for years, and tonight we're getting some to go to take to a concert in the park in Happy Valley. I guess we'll see how well it travels, but as a rule plan to eat in their bar.
