Came here in the middle of the day on a Saturday, as I really enjoyed Thirsty Lion when I visited Portland last time. Senate has opened in what used to be Thirsty Lion, and it's a bit different. Their selection is smaller (they had run out of a few of their draft beers) but it's still a great option for a local beer flight. We were served by a very nice bartender who was unfortunately overburdened, so I hope they hire more staff to help...

Just for the beer selection, love the assortment. Nice place, friendly people. Big place with lots of room. Food sounds good. Next time I'll try it and update.

Love this place! It has a comfortable, low-key atmosphere, yet still feels classy. They have a really nice patio in the back of the building too. The drinks and service were great! We were waited on by Ally, who made us feel very welcome and made sure that we had a fantastic time. I will definitely be coming back!

We were here at happy hour and it was very quiet. There is a good selection of beers. This is quite a cool pub, lots with of TVs. A good place to watch the game. Service was good. They have a DJ, and a stage set up for live music.

I've only eaten french fries here, but they were good. I've been here dancing on Wednesday nights and that has been fantastic. Big space for Sandy, good sound system, and a great crowd. Place has a great bar as well.

Came here for Burger Week. The burger was tasty and the price was right. Good service. I'd come back.

Not great. We were only there for happy hour. I got a cider, which was fine. My friend ordered a Moscow Mule. It came in a tall glass and not a copper mug and it was really weak, so it just tasted like sour ginger beer. They were playing Pepper on the radio which was a nice break from typical Portland bar music, but it was 85° outside and they had one window open and none of the ceiling fans going, so we ended up leaving just because we were uncomfortably hot and sticking to our seats.

Beautiful bar offering live jazz a few days a week including Jazz brunch. It was quiet on a weeknight and offered a great spot for good conversation over delicious drinks. They had a big bar selection and lots of seating plus friendly staff.
