Excellent food and excellent service. The owner and the staff go out of their way to offer the best customer service experience (plus they take safety measures seriously). And the cook knows what he is doing, I believe this place has the best fish and chips in Portland. I couldn’t be happier to be able to support local businesses like this. Will definitely be back.

Called in an order last weekend not knowing what to expect. Wow, those fish and chips were good! As were the onion rings. And the supreme burger. And the grilled chicken Caesar salad—especially the dressing. Even the kid’s chicken strips were good. We all concluded that if this place was so tasty after sitting in to-go containers for a while (because I lost track of time and didn’t pick them up when I should have), then eating in-house when the food is at its freshest/hottest/crispiest must be amazing. Very friendly service and such reasonable prices. We look forward to when we can dine-in here!

We've had the most wonderful experiences with Boulevard Taphouse. During COVID, the carry out has been delicious. They take time to carefully pack everything so that the food stays optimal. Their fish and chips have become a staple for us and everything else we've had has been great, too. The service is always friendly and accommodating. So glad we have this restaurant in our neighborhood!

This is our go to quick dinner and a growler place. Excellent burgers, fried chicken sandwich is my new fave and of course the fish and chowder are truly hard to beat! Tried the pizza the other day and it was pretty good too. I highly recommend and I don’t usually write reviews. Support our great local businesses!

Generous food portions at reasonable prices, and a tasty selection of draft beers and ciders. Their house special, the fish and chips, is definitely worth a try. The owner is very hospitable and friendly. One great thing is the outdoor seating, though some people might not enjoy having heavy traffic on either side of you from the Boulevard and I-5. I love it!

This is a fantastic little place! The people who run it are super friendly and more than willing to make things a certain way or accommodate any request. Everything I’ve ever had here has been superb and made with love.. The best fish and chips around. They make things from scratch. The chili, clam chowder and house made onion rings are all superb. Can’t make up your mind about a beer? They will let you test as many as you want. Eager to try the pizza now! Also, a nice little out door area. All round, super good, super friendly, super fresh and supremely reasonably priced.Best bargain around for exquisite comfort food. A gem.
