You need to get here first thing in the morning as the line grows very quickly! The bread and pastries here are super super SUPER tasty and fluffy as they make them all from scratch! We tried the peach tart and my gosh I needed another one right away! They have so so so ma y to choose from and they all look amazing! I love the atmosphere as it felt so cozy and homey.

I can't seem to stay away from this place. Just look at the Chunky Chocolate Rye, it really does taste as chocolate as it looks. The blueberry scone is a wonder, it's moist and dense, with flavor that is the definition of scone. You won't want any other scone after this one. The Galette and morning buns are so good. It's all amazing.

There is just something so good about Standard. They are the 4th sibling of the Dana Street Collection and you just can’t go wrong. The pastries are delicious and beautiful. My favorite is the Morning Bun with walnuts. They also have excellent baguettes and croissants. The parking in the lot is plentiful and free if you parking their designated spots. If you are going in the summer plan to wait in line or order ahead! Enjoy!

I saw this from my hotel’s window where people were lined up to get in. I don’t like lines so I ordered online the night before and picked it up the next day. The Asiago fougasse has the great mixture of cheesy crunch with airiness in the middle. We also got the petite galette, brownie, pan de chocolat and morning bun with walnuts which are all great! I’m glad I didn’t actually get inside the bakery because I would’ve bought more than my wallet can handle!

I visited for the first time in February, and today I was back. The blueberry scone was ok, but the pain au chocolat and the morning buns w walnuts (see pic) are delicious! Perfectly moist, crispy you name it. I will definitely go out of my way to visit whenever I’m near Portland. They still have masking and social distancing in place, which I respect since it’s a small shop. I waited outside for less than 2 minutes until it was my turn. Friendly and helpful staff, gave me some nice pointers on how to preserve my baked goods for future consumption 😋

There was a massive line in the morning, so I went a bit later in the afternoon. Even though it wasn't warm and fresh, the Blueberry scone was great! Normally scones are too dry for me, but this had perfect texture, and wasn't overly sweet. The raspberry galette was out of this world--perfectly crumbly, just browned enough and great amount of jam. Would definitely get the galette again.
