The food is absolutely amazing. Always fresh and high quality ingredients paired together in unique and thoughtful creations ☺️ The grateful ched is my all time favorite but everything I've tried is delicious. The owner and all the workers are super great people too!

Great sandwiches! A short, simple list with elegant combinations of ingredients. They all sounded like something exciting to try. The staff was super friendly and talkative. They also carry drinks, sodas and gorgeous cheesecake made by local businesses. A great place to stop in for lunch. Haven't seen what it's like around dinner time. We walked there from our Airbnb.

Best sandwiches in Portland.
Customer service is 100% on point. They’re always busy, but so fast, efficient and super kind. Always have smiles on their faces (the genuine kind). Grateful for this little spot and can’t recommend it enough.

This place is a great local find! We are here visiting and wanted a local place for a quick lunch that wasn’t fast food. The staff was super friendly. The food was made in front of us, quick and tasted amazing!! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Great job!

Local Press has the best Reuben evah! If you want a really delicious sandwich, not just the Reuben (my fave) then go to Local Press. Their sandwiches are packed full with goodness and well worth the money!

The Orchard Turkey was good, and the key lime cheesecake was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic - these guys know what the hell they are doing when it comes to making sandwiches! Bread was fresh and perfect, the meat was mounded and delicious, and the spinach and sautéed onions were on point. Keep up the great work!

I'm continually impressed by the low-key deliciousness available here. The Back Shore is my favorite and offers ham, blue cheese, spinach, and grapes (pictured). Most sandwiches have a similar vibe. Perfect mix of savory and sweet. Local beers on tap, hot/cold sandwich options and soup. 3 veg options available. Usually not crowded. Once I biked here in the pouring rain and they offered me towels from the kitchen. I recommend it highly!
